September 2007

We finally decided to join the blog world! This is our first time ever doing this so please be kind to us, even if it looks horrible. I don't even know where to begin. We are still living in Chandler, Az and really love it here. Ken every once in while gets the itch to move back to Montana but I dont think he will ever convince me to move. Ken is still working as hard as ever and lives more at work then he does at home. He has joined a poker club and a pool tournament that he plays on thursday nights. Because of all of Ken's hardwork I am still able to stay home with Colton. I love it, I wouldn't trade it for anything. I joined a scrapbooking club on friday nights and I love the break. I am almost caught up with Colton's scrapbook. He loves to look at it.

Our family went to California for a week in August, it was great. The weather was beautiful. Colton couldn't get enough of being able to be outside all day.(Too hot in the summer in Az.) Colton and I went to the Wild Animal park while Ken went golfing.(How Ken pulled that trade I still don't know.) Colton was so excited to be able to see the animals so up close. We got to feed the deer and he didn't want to leave. The highlight of the trip was when we went to Disneyland. Colton was such a trooper adn only had one melt down while waiting in the line at The dumbo ride.(which he ended up going on four times!!) He loved seeing all the disney characters. He wasn't even afraid of them. (I think ken was a little disappointed.) We really enjoyed it in California and cant wait to go back.

Colton is growing so fast, Ken and I can't keep up. He already is talking in sentences and really doesn't hold back on telling us what he wants. He loves to be read to and is starting to recognize words and letters. He knows his numbers and loves to count anything he can. He is already three feet tall! He is tall and skinny just like his Daddy. Colton loves to play with Daddy and do anything that daddy is doing, including hammering the walls. I can't believe he will be two in two months. He is our little man.

Well that's about it for now. We will hopefully keep this up. bye for now.
